Okay everyone–it’s happening–I’m getting in shape for wedding dress shopping! I never understood why people, women especially, put so much emphasis on getting in shape for their wedding. Now that I am in this position I completely understand. With all the costs going into photography and the dress I want to be confident and look my best. I don’t want to look at photographs and be distracted by my “bread loaf” stomach or wobbly arms.
Plus, it’s time I take fitness seriously. MY JEANS DON’T FIT! Seriously. They don’t button. I’ve grown. Wide. It’s embarrassing to admit this here where all of the internet can read this but if I’m going to be serious I might as well fess up. I need to use a rubber band around the button hole to keep my jeans on. I could easily buy jeans that are an extra inch or two bigger but then that just begins the cycle of going up and up and up until I look in the mirror one day and realize I look like a completely different person.

My goal right now is to get back down to my regular size. I currently weigh 140lbs. That is my highest weight ever. My jeans are a size 28 so I just need to fit into them properly. In order to reach this goal I’m using the My Fitness Pal app on my phone to track my calorie intake. I just plugged my info and goal and it shows how many calories I should consume each day to reach my goal in a healthy way. I’m also going to workout at the gym at least FOUR times a week. I’ll either do Bootcamp, Zumba, Treadmill Shredmill from Blogilates or some other form of cardio.
