Mother’s Day Card Making Class THIS Saturday

Mother’s Day is coming up! May 14th for US and in Mexico May 10th, I know a lot of my fellow Latinos celebrate both US Mother’s Day and recognize the one from their ancestral country too. Do you have any special Mother’s Day traditions? We usually do a nice quiet brunch with our mom. It’s grown now that my sisters and I are moms too! Is your mom a super hero? I love this card designed by my Stampette Family member Angela. She is just one of 3 demonstrators who will be teaching card making and stamping techniques at this class.…

Get Your Faves Before They’re Gone!!

The Stampin’ Up retirement sale is in full swing! So many wonderful items are “sun setting” and quickly selling out at that! Once they’re gone – they’re gone for good! I know that I fell in LOVE with the Oh So Succulent suite – the paper, stamps, framelits, ribbons – oh my I really love it all, so I made sure to secure supplies to keep my creative heart content. They’re on the retirement list so that means Stampin’ Up won’t produce anymore of those items. Want to see the full retiring list? Click here to view a PDF. You can…

I love my crafting family

I’m lucky to have a group of passionate crafters as part of my Stampin’ Up family. We even have our own little group on Facebook where we share our ideas, classes, and just get excited about crafting in general! We can appreciate the “nerdiness” of it all. I gave us a name too, “The Stampettes”! We are each different women from different walks of life and in different stages of life as well but we all share something in common – the need to be creative and express ourselves through the simple act of creating and connecting. With just some…

Happy Brithday to My Husband!

Today is my husband’s birthday and I want to take a moment to say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! He’s an incredible husband, always supportive and encouraging. Whenever I take on a new venture is backs me up 100%. He might not be crazy about my busy schedule but he understands my reasons for wanting to pursue more. Not only is he an incredible husband but he’s an amazing dad and uncle. He very much looked forward to being a dad one day and when it came time to plan on having our baby he was very excited to enter this chapter of…

Mother’s Day Card Making Class on April 29

Mother’s Day is next month and we all love to honor and cherish the mothers and mother figures in our lives. For me Mother’s Day is a special day that I can show my mom, aunts and sisters how special they are to me. They say it takes a village to raise a child – and I certainly continue to see that in my life. Growing up my aunts helped take care of us, whether my Tia Mary with before school and after school care, or my Tia DJ coming to the rescue to help me get ready for school.…

The Pablove Foundation Spring Events

Childhood cancer is serious and unfortunate, no parent ever wants to deal with this possibility. Growing up, one of my classmates was diagnosed with leukemia and thankfully she survived and continued on to lead a full childhood and is now a grown adult with a family. I remember it was a very serious and sensitive  time, we all rallied behind her and her family to provide support and encouragement.  When I received information about The Pablove Foundation in my inbox I knew right away I would share their news on my blog.

Ebates, Totally Legit Way To Shop Online

Going to the mall or to the stores to shop is unappealing to me as my pregnancy continues. I experience back pain caused by my sciatic nerve being pinched so walking around shops is more of a hassle and not so fun anymore. I predict going out to shop will be a little difficult once baby is here! I really wish I signed up for Ebates before holiday shopping because I did 99% of my shopping online. So what is Ebates exactly?
