Mother’s Day Card Making Class on April 29

Mother’s Day is next month and we all love to honor and cherish the mothers and mother figures in our lives. For me Mother’s Day is a special day that I can show my mom, aunts and sisters how special they are to me. They say it takes a village to raise a child – and I certainly continue to see that in my life. Growing up my aunts helped take care of us, whether my Tia Mary with before school and after school care, or my Tia DJ coming to the rescue to help me get ready for school. Even my grandmother and great-aunt provided care for us when my busy single-working mom needed help. Today my sisters, mom, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law all pitch in to help with our babies. Especially my sister Jessica, she is truly a super hero watching my son and hers every day of the week while I work.

A handmade card is a heartfelt and personal way to show that you are thinking of someone. Besides your mom, is there another woman in your life you like to honor on Mother’s Day?

Join me and two other Stampin’ Up Demonstrators on April 29 from 10 am to noon at Free Press Marketing to create a set of Mother’s Day cards. Class fee is $15 and includes all the materials needed along with light refreshments and we also have a kid’s room so the little ones can come along too!

RSVP now to let me know you’re coming! Make a card for your mom, mother-in-law, aunt, or grandmother. Bring your husband and kids along to make cards too! Everyone is welcome and we are sure to have at least one card to fit each unique woman’s style!
