Since purchasing my Project Life supplies I dove in and filled in a few pages. I obsessed and searched the hashtag Project Life on Instagram, then searched on Pinterest and found lots of blogs with useful tips and ideas. My original intent was to keep this simple so, while the bloggers have some awesome ideas out there–I held back and did it the quick and easy way. Print photos, fill in journal cards, and place everything. I later added a few stickers here and there and used a glue stick to paste in ticket stubs and a quote card.
I didn’t take a bunch of photos on Valentine’s Day but I wanted to make a page in my Project Life album anyway so I purchased the Project Life Envelope Variety Pack. I tucked in the card I gave Kyle and the card my sister gave us with photos of my niece.
My sisters and I kicked off March with one of our “sister dates.” We try to connect with each other at least once a month and do something fun together. My niece is always included, it’s time for us girls to just be together and strengthen our bond.
The last layout to I made displays some photos from our trip to Disneyland for my niece’s 2nd birthday.
I used a small Project Life Envelope here to stash our “Just Married” buttons. Our wedding was in August so we are still technically newlyweds right? I count newlywed as being in your first year of marriage. What are your thoughts on this?
Those are my layouts for February and March! I feel pretty darn proud of myself for keeping up with it! I plan on snapping lots of photos at an upcoming camping trip to fill in for April. I hope looking at these helped inspire a fellow newbie Project Lifer out there 🙂
