Review: Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes

One of my friends recently held an online Facebook Younique party. This is very similar to a Mary Kay or Avon party, only it was held via Facebook! I thought the consultant did a great job being entertaining and she kept posting photos of this amazing mascara that made eyelashes look incredibly long and thick. So after a while of seeing these photos pop up in my feed I caved and made a purchase.

The Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes arrived in a beautiful case, it looks like a sunglasses case. Inside I found instructions, a tube of transplanting gel, and a tube of natural fibers. This mascara set cost $29 and I can see why with the luxury packaging and two tubes of product.

There are a few steps to follow in order to achieve full lashes using MoodStruck 3D Fiber Lashes. First apply a coat of your favorite mascara. Let it dry then add a coat of the transplanting gel. Next, a layer of fiber and last seal it with a coat of transplanting gel. The instructions say you can repeat the fiber and transplanting gel as many times as desired to reach the look you want. I was happy with just following the process once.

At the end of the day the mascara comes off with regular eye make-up remover and warm water with face cleanser. If you’re curious about this product feel free to visit the website here, this is the consultant I ordered from. This is a direct link to the mascara I purchased.

Full disclosure: I was not paid to write this review and I paid for this product myself. I don’t receive any reward for you clicking to the consultant’s website.

  1. Great review Monique! ! I too am in love with this product even though my first make-up love is still Mary Kay. I recommend this to any girl wanting that little extra oomph !
